It is my pleasure to recommend the Heartland Opera Troupe to any organization that would like a program on opera. The presentation made to our middle school students was both educational and enjoyable for them.
The troupe that was at Brandon Valley Middle School did an excellent job in presenting the opera to the students in a manner they would understand. By including student participation, it also gave the kids a sense that they too can enjoy the opera instead of just adults.

We really enjoyed the Hansel & Gretel Opera. It was a phenomal[sic] experience. Your opera was not like we expected, it was much better. This was the first opera for most of us & we hope to see more.
The opera Hansel & Gretel impressed our class because we could understand what the singers were singing. The fifth graders favorite part was when the witch came out. The song she sang was outstanding. Listening to the music really made the story come to life & made it unforgettable. Thank you for the extraordinary opportunity to listen to the opera.
